2012 Plummer river rally
This is their third annual Plummer river rally, and they went all out. Features included the headlining bands Fuel, American Idol finalist Amanda Overmyer and a motorcycle stunt show team.
This year they've relocated the vendors area from way down by the day parking lot to up close by the stage where they belong, made the mechanical bull rides free and even helicopter rides for only $10 a head!
The campgrounds are huge and you can tell that this is a pretty new show, it's missing that ''polished'' feeling with some dead time during the afternoons. Once the sun goes down the rally wild's up quite a bit, the headline bands were excellent (where else could you even get a concert ticket for Fuel for under $100?), the mechanical bull was set up right by the main stage and they had wild adults only contests after dark every night.
I liked it. It's a pretty decent sized rally, good people, great bands and some really wild contests after dark... what else could you look for? See www.plummerriverrally.com for their upcoming show dates, it's a great place to go party for the weekend if you don't feel like driving all the way to Sturgis SD to be like all the other bikers.
Biker BoB gives this show... 7/10
