2012 LABOR DAY BIKER PARTY
Good times in Mississippi, who cares about hurricane Isaac?
The Labor day biker party in Sandy Hook has been going strong for several years and is always one of the best fall rallies going. Even hurricane Isaac couldn't stop this long weekend festival.
I ain't going to lie to you, it sort of rained a bit. To the tune of something like 20'odd inches. And there may have been a little wind... but what's a good stiff breeze between friends? Because friends are who showed up at this party. It's as if the storm washed away all the gawkers and amateur party go'ers, those left were the hardcore, dedicated ''we're going to party no matter what'' crowd who made up for in quality what they lacked in quantity.
I had a great time. The bands played on, the field events fielded, the wild contests were as good as ever and everyone there had a blast.
There's something new in the air this fall, the promoters have decided to host a Halloween party. If it's anything like their labor day and memorial day rallies it should be a great time. Check out my calendar for the dates, more info will be posted soon.
Biker BoB gives this show 7/10 beer cans
