2009 Bobarosa biker Campgrounds spring breakout party I've been hearing about the Bobaraso biker bar & campgrounds out in Del Rio, TN and finally got a chance to go check it out. It's a decent sized biker bar on the banks of a little river, with some outdoor stages, some RV hookups and lot's of primitive tent camping spaces. Beautifull location, great little bar, lot's of fun to hang out at. The kind of place where everybody is friendly and knows you name after 10 mintues of being there. This being their spring breakout party and VERY early in the season for up in the TN mountains there wasn't really a big turnout, only a couple of hundred hardcore party people showed up to campout in the near freezing temperatures. Everyone kept telling me how the place completely packs out with hundreds of bikes in the summer time, but it's a little too early in the year to really camp out yet. Biker band legends GENEVA were out there banging out some tunes in the bar. It was somebody's birthday so they baked her dildo shaped cake in the kitchen and brought it out in the middle of the show, the band hung around drinking, partying and signing everything from drumsticks to breast'usses and a good time was had by all. And that was before 10pm when I put my camera down and got down to some serious drinking & making friends. It ain't a huge place, they don't have oxygen bars, wi-fi internet or vendors lining up to sell you the latest ''biker'' doo-dads. But if you like your crowds friendly, your music loud, your beer cheap and camping out in the TN mountains on the shady banks of some little mountain river this place will have you comming back time & time again. |
