Full Throttle magazine's year end party

Hosted at Fat Cat's, in Austell, GA. Pretty good party, open to the public. It's a chance to meet all the staff, advertisers, vendors and other people that help make Full Throttle what it is.

Unlike most year end parties that you'll go to this one was open to the public. And long boring speeches? Not happening here. This one was all about the bands, the party and giving away free stuff. Including a big 50/50 draw, a flat screen tv, a bbq grill and a whole bunch of bikery nick'nacks donated by advertisers. And of course the big bang was raffling off a Harley.

The bike draw was pretty funny, they'd been selling tickets all year round so of course the dude that actually won wasn't there. Hell, I think he'd completely forgotten about even buying a ticket. After drawing his name they call him up on the phone to tell him he'd won and the guy still couldn't believe it. Even after revving the bike and tooting the horn for him he's still in denial. Who'd have thought you'd have to work so hard to give away a free bike??!? Hahahaha

My favorite part of the weekend? JB Walker brought the Cheap Whiskey band and slammed down for well over an hour. Because he could, because he loves to play and hell, because it's JB's home town and he still remembers where he came from! You HAVE to pile on the respect and tip your hat to the man that's a living legend in the biker world.

This wasn't a wild party, it was simply a good'ol get together at the bar and the perfect way to wind down the rally season. Bring a few toys for the kids, get your photo taken with Santa and his little hottie elf, raffle a bike, hang out with your friends and listen to some kickin' bands. Like I said, a pretty good one day party.

Thanks to Full Throttle for making it happen, and for having me over to shoot it.
