As you may or may not know bike week is not a single event, but rather a whole bunch of different things going on in & around Daytona Beach, Florida. Different bars put on different events in an attempt to attract bikers to hang out and spend their hard earned dollars at THEIR spot instead of somewhere else. So this year instead of running around town and trying to cover a little bit of everything we decided to simply do a good job and check out what's probably the most famous of all bike week events, the girls coleslaw wrestling at the cabbage patch. And unlike most places during bike week, the cabbage patch still has managed to keep that ''biker party'' feeling and reasonable prices unlike many other places in Daytona. Other than their world famous girls wrestling in coleslaw they've also got live bands, a bunch of vendors, tons of both RV & primitive tent camping right accross the street. And unlike most places they don't try to gouge you, for example the tent camping is only $10 a night! Quite a deal during bike week when all the hotels have tripled their prices. And don't miss their ''almost famous'' bike drop where they drain all the oil out of a jap bike, crank the throttle wide open and hoist the bike about 200 feet straight up in the air... and just let it run until it either explodes, catches fire or melts down, or all of the above.
