2008 abate TN Southern Thunder LOCATION : Adams, TN ENTRY FEES : $25 weekend armband. RV hookups available, RV fees ?. Beer sold, or BYOB. Ice , food and other vendors on location. ENTERTAINMENT : Wet t shirt contest, men's wet boxer contest, weenie bite, slow race, honey I'm home, barrel race, bike show LIVE BANDS : Jasmine Cain, Stacie Collins, TKO, Myth, Randy Chesson. Bob rates this rally a 5/10 beer cans!       Exclusive biker party coverage 2008 Southern Thunder rally 2008 A great place to kick back & relax Very nice campgrounds, plenty of shade right on the banks of the TN red river (yes you can swim). Covered stage, food & other vendors. Friday night live bands. Saturday with your standard ABATE afternoon biker games, bike show, more live bands, men's wet boxer contest & women's wet t shirt contest followed by another live band. All in all it was a pretty quiet weekend as far as wild parties go, there really wasn't much nudity until late Saturday night when both the men & women lined up for their respective one & only contest. The weekend was a pretty good time in a relaxed, ''just hanging out'' kind of way. It's all for a good cause, a portion of proceeds going to finance ABATE TN. Joining or being an ABATE member was NOT required for entry. The bands were suprisingly good, especially considering the number of people that showed up. I made some new friends and had a pretty good time, it just wasn't real wild times.
